Now Much More Than Wi-Fi

UniFi® is rapidly expanding to a full Software Defined Networking (SDN) solution with seamless intergration of its UniFi® Switches to create a highly scalable, end-to-end system of network devices across multiple locations — all controlled from a single interface.

All UniFi^® Switches deliver the capacity to simultaneously process traffic on all ports at line rate with no packet loss.

UniFi^® PoE Switches

Ubiquiti UniFi® PoE Switches come in a range of models to suit various locations and networks, from the smaller UniFi® Switch 8-60W which has 8 GbE RJ45 Ports and 4 802.3af PoE Ports, to the large form factor UniFi® Switch PoE 48-750W, which has 48 GbE RJ45 Ports, 2 SFP+ Ports, 2 SFP Ports and a massive 750W of power via PoE+ 802.3AF/AT. There are also options for lower powered versions as well as 16 and 24 Port models.

UniFi^® PoE Switches offer the following features:

• Versatile Mounting Options – Desk/Shelf Mounting (8 Port Models Only) Wall Mounting (8 & 16-Port Models Only) or Rack Mounting (16, 24 & 48 Port Models Only).
• Advanced Port Management – Each switch port offers custom settings: port name, PoE, network/VLAN configuration, and operation mode (switching, mirroring, or aggregate) – as well as 802.1X Authentication and Radius VLAN support.
• Optical Fiber Connectivity – SFP ports support uplinks of up to 1 Gbps. For high-capacity uplinks, each 48-port model includes two SFP+ ports for uplinks of up to 10 Gbps. (Not available on the Switch 8-60W Model).
• Convenient PoE+ Support – The UniFi^® Switch features auto-sensing IEEE 802.3af/at PoE to power multiple devices on the network. (Not available on the Switch 8-60W Model).

UniFi^® Switches

For networks that don’t require the added benefit of PoE, Ubiquiti also produce the UniFi® Switch range. These none PoE models have many of the features of their PoE sister product, however without the added cost associated with PoE their price is significantly reduced and very competitive compared to other to other vendors such as Netgear, D-Link, TP-Link, Linksys, etc.

The UniFi® Switch range comes in a variety of models to suit, from the smaller UniFi® Switch 8 which has 8 GbE RJ45 Ports and as well as having a PoE Passthrough port, it is also powered by PoE (12W Maximum Power Consumption) to allow for more robust placement options. To the large form factor UniFi® Switch 24, which has 24 GbE RJ45 Ports, 2 SFP Ports and 52 Gbps of Switching capacity.

There is also a UniFi® Switch 16 XG model which is an Enterprise 10G Aggregation Switch and comes with 12 SFP+ Ports and 4 10G RJ45 Ports for maximum performance in demanding networks.
